
Adam Duryea – President
Adam Duryea began serving as a board member of Typical Life Corporation in August of 2013. Adam is a Certified Public Account who has nearly 15 years of experience in various auditing, accounting and financial reporting roles. Adam’s experience spreads across a wide breadth of clients as he has worked with not-for profits, financial institutions and manufacturing clients during his career. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Messiah College. Adam grew up in Northern New Jersey and relocated to Lancaster County upon graduation, where he still resides with his wife and two young children. Adam attends Mount Calvary Church where he actively participates on the Deacon Board, youth programs and School Finance Committee.

Chris Kessler – Treasurer
Chris is a lifelong York County resident and Owner of New Leaf Home Inspection. She has over 30 years of experience in rental property ownership and land lording. Her goal has always been to offer decent, affordable places to live to low income, elderly and disabled persons. It has also been her joy to help many of her tenants and students become first time home owners. Chris has also taught Adult Education classes for more than 25 years at Senior Centers and High Schools on subjects such as; Land lording/Rental Real Estate, Home Energy Workshops, Home Repairs, Auto Care and Mosaic Tiling. Chris has been doing volunteer disaster recovery work and other mission work both locally and in foreign countries since the mid 1980’s. She leads trips several times a year to help disaster victims rebuild their homes and their lives. She also currently leads a “Typical Life” class at her Church on Sunday mornings.

Missy Gosnell
Missy Gosnell was born and raised in York County, PA. She is a 1981 graduate of West York Area High School and 1985 graduate of York College of PA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Minor in Corrections. Missy has extensive human services experience. She has been employed by the Community Progress Council, Inc. since 1988. Currently she is the Director of Case Management and Housing Services. Missy also serves as a member of the York County Task Force on Domestic Violence and Co-Chair of the Health Care and Human Service Providers Committee. She is also a member of the York County Continuum of Care (CoC) Committee focusing on homelessness. Missy’s hobbies and interest involve making jewelry and a variety of craft projects, gardening and my her two rescue dogs that she refers to as The Boyz.

David Vollero
David Vollero is the Executive Director for the York County Solid Waste & Refuse Authority. He enjoys seeing the impact TLC has in the community and how helping everyone live a typical life strengthens our ties. David received his MSc. in Environmental Management from the University of London (now Imperial College London) in 1997 and his BS in Environmental Resource Management from Pennsylvania State University (1984). David has been actively involved in the community through coaching youth sports, as a literacy tutor, as a court-appointed Special Advocate, and as a member of the School District Planning Committee. He has three daughters and recently became a grandfather.
