YORK, PA – Typical Life Corporation (TLC) is pleased to welcome Sandra Chilton as its new Executive Director. Chilton began her new role on June 1, 2023.
TLC supports individuals throughout York and Adams counties in residential group homes, day programs, and through community service opportunities. The organization’s goal in recruiting a new executive director was to find someone who could further its mission to provide a holistic approach to supporting those with intellectual disabilities in the community.
Chilton brings over 20 years of experience in the human services field to her new role. She previously served as the Maryland State Director of the Mid-Atlantic Human Service Corp./Aspire Living & Learning. Chilton has a BA in Psychology from Salisbury University and has completed coursework in University of Baltimore’s Master of Psychology program.
“Sandra’s executive leadership experience will help TLC achieve success through ongoing people-centric care,” says Patrick Ball, who recently served as Interim Executive Director at Typical Life Corporation. “The organization has made strides to strengthen its programs to the people it serves and invest in its employees. Sandra’s addition as Executive Director will allow TLC to have a continued positive impact.”
The national search for a new executive director was completed by DCM Associates.
