About Alex
Alex Crans joined TLC as IT Systems Support Manager in December 2025 after supporting the organization as an outside consultant since 2022. With 16 years of experience in information technology, Alex brings extensive knowledge of technical support, systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations to his role.
Alex began repairing computers and completing technology projects while still in high school and college. Throughout his 16-year career, he has advanced through help desk, systems administration, network administration, and IT leadership roles. His experience includes upgrading network and server infrastructure, managing devices and equipment lifecycles, improving IT processes, and providing technical support across a variety of industries.
Alex is inspired by TLC’s work to help neurodivergent individuals lead happy, healthy lives. The individuals TLC supports and the employees who serve them motivate him to become a better person in his own life.
Outside of work, Alex spends time with his young son. They enjoy hiking local trails, exploring potential fly-fishing spots, collecting plant samples to propagate, and spending time outdoors. Alex also tends indoor gardens and builds terrariums.
