About Sandy
Sandy Chilton has a profound and longstanding commitment to advocating for neurodiverse adults and children, a passion that has found a fulfilling outlet in her role as the Executive Director at TLC since 2023.
With her educational background in psychology and sociology, complemented by graduate coursework and an Executive Leadership Certificate, Sandy is well-equipped to guide and mentor both the individuals supported by TLC and the team members.
Leading TLC is more than a role for Sandy; it’s an honor that contributes to her personal growth. She is deeply involved in creating a positive and inclusive environment within the organization, fostering greater growth and community collaboration. Sandy finds herself humbled every day by the incredible work TLC does and the joy she gains from interacting with the individuals they support.
When not at work, Sandy enjoys exploring new places and creating lasting memories with her family. Her hobbies include reading and the creative pursuit of repurposing furniture, showcasing her versatility and artistic flair.
Family is central to Sandy’s life. She has been happily married to her husband, Greg, for 25 years. Their daughter, Alex, is completing her education at Temple University, aiming for a career in Applied Behavior Analysis. Their home is also graced by the presence of two sweet kitties. A family-oriented person at heart, Sandy cherishes the time spent with her immediate and extended family members, creating a warm and loving home environment.
